Highlights 2007
We look back again to an extraordinary exciting year 2007.
It was our honour to many exceptional people: authors, journalists, film producers, friends and travellers.
Alongside the numerous historical attractions we were able - during the summer - to enjoy open air concerts in the region and refuel our spirits.
From our complete annual programme we have put together a small compilation of the highlights:
Treasure hunter in Rennes le Chateau

Alain Chatillon, a professional treasure hunter and mentioned in the Guinness book of records, came back to France from Mexico after 13 years to visit his old house and his old friends during the Easter holidays. He is well known for developing and selling the best metal detectors.
"La Vraie Langue Celtique..."

Olaf Jakobskötter did a very special and difficult job. He translated Abbé Boudet’s book “La Vraie Langue Celtique et Le Cromleck de Rennes-les-Bains” into German. Congratulation for this crowning achievement!
In April there was a presentation at the bookshop La Porte de Rennes in Rennes le Château.
Author Kathleen McGowan

Kathleen McGowan, author of the famous book “The Expected One” came in May again to Rennes le Château after visiting Les Saintes Maries de la Mer with us to have an intensive discussion with Henry Lincoln.
Crystal bowls

Daniel Brower played the mystical crystal bowls in our garden and arranged many things in this region in order to achieve global harmonization around the world.
Rafting

Rafting on the river Aude was a lot of fun. Really worthwhile. It is safely organized by Sudrafting.
Filmproducer

Bruce Burgess, Rene Barnett and Ben Hammot visited Rennes le Chateau, enjoying Henry Lincoln’s talks. We are looking forward to their new film about Jesus and Maria Magdalene.
Author Margret Starbird

Margret Starbird came to Rennes le Chateau with a small group. We were very delighted to see her again after 12 years when she held a workshop in our garden. We are looking forward to seeing her again very soon.
Special meeting

A very special coming together of different authors who made this little village so famous all over the word. A meeting of Henry Lincoln, Margret Starbird, Tim Wallace Murphy and Marilyn Hopkins. Thank you for coming and book signing in the library "La Porte de Rennes".
