Enigmatours invites you to a very special holiday. You can experience the region and its history which is base of Dan Brown’s book “The Da Vinci Code”.

We will organize all bookings and reservations concerning hotels, restaurants, museums, events and sightseeing. Let yourself be transported in our fully air-conditioned van (capacity 8 people max.), enjoying luxurious pick nicks with all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from our fridge aboard.

Your competent chauffeur and guide will inform you about the history of the various sights. Plunge into the history of the Languedoc-Roussillon, the world of the Cathar, Templars and the adventurous scenario of Bérenger Saunière, parish priest of Rennes le Château.

General Programme

  • Arrival at the airport of Carcassonne, Montpellier or Toulouse
  • Transfer from the airport to a hotel in the vicinity of Rennes le Château
  • Evening meal in the hotel and consequent briefing for the week

1st Day Rennes le Château, museum, church, village, reception in our garden, presentation of sacred geometry according to Henry Lincoln
2nd Day Château Montsegur, museum, Château Puivert
3rd Day Trip to the Mediterranean, Salses le Château, wine tasting, Château Puilaurens
4th Day Rennes les Bains, Roman thermal springs, Bugarach, Gorge de Galamus, Eremitage, Château Quéribus
5th Day Campagne sur Aude, Quillan market (Wednesday), extraordinary lunch in a typical country restaurant in the mountains, Dinosaur museum
6th Day Limoux market (Friday), Notre Dame de Marceille, Black Madonna, Holy spring, City of Carcassonne
7th Day Limousis grotto or Cabrespine, Notre Dame de Cros, Château Lastour and/or Minerve dependant on departure time and – place, transfer to the airport

  • Package price for 7 days: per Person € 980,-- (Singleroom: € 175,- extra)
  • Included are all transfers as well as those to and from the airport in an air-conditioned minibus with a fridge. The minibus is designed to carry a maximum of eight persons.
  • 7 Nights in a double room incl. breakfast, lunch in the restaurant, drinks not included, at Pique Nique including drinks, refreshments during the day, admission fees for Museums and castles
  • On request the programme can be individually structured.
  • The programme may also be booked without hotel and evening meal, bookings of a minimum of three people € 75,- per person
  • Naturally the programme may be extended on a daily basis. The extended programme costs € 140,- per person per day.

 

Further destinations include:

  • Prehistoric museum of Tautavel (one of the oldest findings of Homo Erectus 450.000 years old)
  • Trekking tour to the Templar fortress ruins of Bézu and/or Blanchefort
  • Free choice – possible visit to the museum of Dali in Spain (at extra cost as it entails a 200 mile journey) or a round of golf on the wonderful 18 hole course at Carcassonne.
  • Trekking through a natural stone labyrinth with unusual energy spots.
